Croatia Travels - BOL
Most tourists to the island of Brac head for Supetar, but the south of the island, around Bol, is where your beach mat wants to be, spread on the famous Zlatni Rat or Golden Cape. The beach looks like a shark’s fin and stars on all the posters (although the pebbly texture is a tad disappointing). Bol itself, a mile or so from the Rat, is a pretty, stone-built town with a good gallery of 20th-century Croatian art.
